I'm back!

Hey guys, I know that I haven't posted in like 3 months but I have announcements to make and stuff to say.

First things first: I made a new blog called Pastel Mints. It's like this type of blog but with more DIY stuff and beauty stuff.

Next: A girl copied me with " The Rant Challenge" and it's been pissing me off. Here are my points and my opinion on this.

Just in case you can't read that: I'll repeat myself.
In this rant about Disney Channel and how much it's changed, I explained my points and talked about what shows I don't like etc.

Copying is never right. If you clicked my ''Permissions " Tab, you would have seen that yes, you are allowed to use my words quoting them IF you have permission from me and even if you do, you MUST give credit to me.

You guys see the points. If you want to see Michelle C's post, click over here.

P.S, remember to check out Pastel Mints!

Living In The Happy Moments: Taking A Much Needed Drink

As you can see, the header has changed to a little banner I made. The title of this blog has also changed. It's now called : As She Sees It but the URL has not changed. Instead of doing Things I Found Thursdays today, I decided to start a new blog series called Living In The Happy Moments or as short, LITHM. It will talk about the happy things in life. I got really inspired after reading The Book Of Awesome so I wanted to start a blog series about happy things instead of just ranting.

Taking A Much Needed Drink

You know that feeling when you're at school or in a store and you just suddenly get really thirsty? Your throat goes all dry and your tongue just kind of flops there. Then you get home and you pour yourself some juice or water and your whole body is relieved. Maybe you pant after drinking or maybe you just relax and thank the world for juice.

work in progress

I was really bored with what the blog looked like and I wanted to change it up so I'm working on it slowly and I don't think I'll be posting because I want to get this makeover done so I'm just saying...

How To Make Your Own Nail Stickers

I've always loved nail art and nail design and things like that so I wanted to do a tutorial on it because I haven't done a tutorial in a long time.

You will need:
-tweezers
-nail polish
- a plastic bag

1. On the plastic bag, make a heart. Make sure the size of the heart is equal to the size of the nail. The heart should be able to fit onto the nail.

2. Let the hearts dry for about a day.

3. Take your tweezers and gently lift the heart off the plastic bag.

The above picture is what happens if you don't seal it with a top coat.

The green heart is really messed up and my finger nails look disgusting.

Weekend Shots (Saturday)

I have alot of stuff to do this weekend but I wanted to show some simple shots from what I did today.

I downloaded this new app called Sketchbook Mobile that lets you draw on your pictures. Beautiful Mess did a post about that. I actually started trying to make a friendship bracelet using embroidery thread and so far, all I have is a knot. A big knot.

I also painted my nails a pretty pink ( some Zoya colour) and it was almost nude and I looked down at my nails and they were chipped. Why?
I was in a big rush after I had done my nails so instead of applying a top coat, I used Revlon Crazy Shine instead. It's a buffer and a shiner(?) and it's super useful!

This was Saturday, I'll do Sunday tomorrow.

Things I Found Thursdays: Hair

Last week's post was on nails and if you haven't seen it yet, click here!

The Beauty Department: One Sided Braid

(via)

I've been a big fan of this site for a long time now and I really liked the look of this braid. It's basically like a French braid but on one side only.
Go to TBD to figure out how to do it!

HairandMake-up by Steph: Flat Iron Curls

(via)
These curls are so beachy and wonderful! I have a flat iron and I'm just dying to try it out!

The Beauty Department: Dipped Dyed Tips

I really love this idea because it looks really interesting and different. These would be really fun in a fishtail braid!

A Beautiful Mess: How To Style Pin Curls

(Via)
I love this idea! You twist your hair and place it and when it dries and you unroll it, it is curly!

adventures with food!

I admit, I am a pretty gross person when it comes to food. I'm the person that will try and mix 2 different foods together to make one bigger better piece! I've tried pickles with peanut butter. (EWWW!) That didn't work out. But today, I tried melted marshmallow in icecream. A tutorial for this will be up soon so keep your eyes open!
